My late Grandmother was one of Dr. Grow's first patients in South Bend. I have to say, he spoiled her. He always made house calls to her and called her frequently to see if she was ok or needed anything. It didn't matter the weather, if she needed him, he was there. I saw him weep when she died. He ultimately became the doctor for most of my family. He will be missed.

To the Grow family, l would like to tell you that l was long time patient of Dr. Grows. And he was one of the very best Dr.s lve ever seen. And we all loved him because when he took his oath to become a Dr., he meant it!
He didnt judge us by color for he saw none. He wanted all of us to be taken care of. And he made sure we were, and if we were sick and had no money, Dr. Grow would make it possible for us get our medication once we arrived at the drug store. We all loved him and when people were doing better, they would always give Dr. Grow his money back for helping them when they could'nt help themselves. And we all looked out for Dr. Grow too. He didnt have to fight no battle their either, because they had to face all of his patients as well as that whole neighborhood!!!! Over on Indiana street!. Im going to miss Dr. Grow, along with everyone else. But l believe that he has a home im heaven and l know for sure that God has Blessed his Soul. May the Lord Jesus bless and comfort all who are left behind to miss this wonderful man of God.
