Sherry Branham Obituary

MISHAWAKA, IN - Sherry Louise Branham, 72, of Mishawaka, IN, passed away peacefully in her home October 10, 2016.
Sherry was born on February 1, 1944 in Hillsboro, IL, to the late PFC Edward D. and Louise C. (McLain) McGown. On September 6, 1962, in Girard, IL, Sherry was married to Larry E. Branham, who precedes her in death on March 2, 2010. Sherry is survived by her children, Teri Rector, of Mishawaka, IN, Kevin (Kim) Branham, of Nappanee, IN, grandchildren, Anthony “Tony” Rector, Tessa Branham, Ella Branham, sister, Rebecca (Lance) Gauble, of Decatur, IL, and her niece, Shani (Tronnie) Goss, of Decatur, IL.
Sherry belonged to the First United Methodist Church in Mishawaka and P.E.O Chapter CZ. Sherry loved spending time with her family and friends especially her grandchildren. She enjoyed traveling in her motorhome and wintering in Gulf Shores, Alabama. She was a wonderful mom, grandma, friend and will be missed by all. Visitation for Sherry will be held on Thursday, October 13, 2016 from 4-8pm in Bubb Funeral Chapel 3910 N. Main St., Mishawaka, IN. A funeral service will be held on Friday, October 14, 2016 at 11am in the funeral home with visitation 1-hour prior. Burial will follow in Fairview Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to American Cancer Society, 130 Red Coach Dr, Mishawaka, IN 46545.

We were friends of Sherry from Luxury RV in Gulf Shores. We enjoyed many evenings playing cards together and a week together on a Cruise this past February. She was a neat lady and will certainly be missed. Prayers to the family for comfort and peace.
