My heart is saddened to hear of Dr. Hulecki's passing. My thoughts and prayers are with his family. My late husband, Hartley, was a patient of Dr. Hulecki and we were so appreciative of his excellent care.
Dr. Hulecki will be sorely missed by everyone who had the pleasure to be treated by him and to know him personally. Dr. Hulecki was a pillar of the community and may he Rest In Peace.

I was so heartbroken to hear that Dr. Hulecki had passed. I was his rep for many years and he was one of the most kind, thoughtful and wonderful Dr.'s that I have known. My thoughts and prayers go out to Joy and his family. Rest in peace Dr. Hulecki. You will be missed.

I was surprised and saddened to hear of Dr. Hulecki's passing. Steve was one of the finest physicians and persons I've known in 45 years of medicine. Our community lost a great friend and colleague when he left. It was a privilege to know and work with him. My sincerest condolences to all of Steve's family.

I moved to South Carolina approximately 19 years ago into a neighboring city. Dr. Stephen Huleki was one of the first colleagues that I met outside of my community. I found him to be a true kindred spirit in the field of urology. Steven was always on the front edge of technology with the goal of providing his patients with the best care possible. He proctored me on the techniques of Cryo surgical ablation of the prostate for prostate cancer. A procedure that I continue to provide to patients to this day. It is through his friendship and his teachings that his legacy lives on - through the lives of the patients that he has treated and the lives of the patients that I now treat as a result of the wisdom that he imparted upon me. For this, I give him great thanks. To his family, my sincerest condolences. He was a tremendous physician and a great man.

So sad to hear of Steve's passing. Steve was the leader of our gang of young boys living on Maple Lane in South Bend, In. We spent our days swimming in Judy Creek, exploring the nearby woods, or playing baseball in the Hulecki's backyard. He was the best athlete and star of St. Mary's grade school basketball team. I will always joyfully remember him as the young red headed happy young boy leading us off to another daily adventure.

Doc Hulecki has treated me for the last ten years. He was always available for me and contributed significantly to my cancer free condition only recently confirmed. A great guy and a great doctor. Saying he will be missed is a gross understatement.

I played baseball with Steve across the street from his old house at Ponader Park in South Bend In. He was a tough competitor with hard side armed fastball.Every kid in the nieghborhood drank from the garden hose from his house. It was large very nice family. He was a "good guy" and will be missed. I always took my father-in-law to see him when he was in West Columbia and was so impressed by his medical manners and his caring so much for Mr. Asbill and us. Dr. Hulecki's work with the US,TOO prostate cancer group of the Midlands and the many patients who benefited from his care here years ago have never been forgotten. There will be many heavy hearts today as people hear of his passing. He leaves a legacy of caring and advocacy that endures and enriches the lives of the many cancer patients whose lives he touched. May he enjoy the fruits of his labors now with the Father in Heaven.
