Siefert, Mark 10/13/2021 Mark Emery Siefert (51) of Grand Blanc, MI went to be with his Savior on October 13, 2021. Mark was a follower of Christ, a lover of music and a nerd. He lived his life as an example of Christ's love. His kindness, thoughtfulness and generosity of spirit touched the lives of all who met him. Mark graduated from Grand Blanc High School in 1988 and UM-Flint in 1992. He served as the Youth Minister of Trinity United Methodist Church-Lapeer and Davison United Methodist Church. His 'children' were those youth. They are his legacy, as he taught and loved them as his own, sharing his love for God and his passion for music, fun times, and service to others. Mark's second career was in car sales where he enjoyed finding the perfect car at the best deal for his customers. Many of these customers became friends. Who could resist such a genuinely kind person?Mark had four great passions: His faith in Christ, his wife (Amy), music, and nerdom. From his early high school bands with family and church friends, to Liquid Eclipse and his solo work, Mark integrated his faith into his music. Additionally, Mark enjoyed collecting and restoring classic arcade games, game consoles and pinball machines. It brought him joy to share his love of these games with others. Mark also enjoyed science fiction, space exploration, and technological advances. He was happy to help and shared that knowledge when asked. Throughout his life, Mark was a genuine believer and an inspiration. He will be desperately missed by Amy, his wife of 28 years, his family and his friends. The memories of time spent together, the lessons learned and the knowledge that Mark is home with God will sustain them. A memorial visitation will be held at Hope Lutheran Church, 7355 Silver Lake Road, Linden, MI 48451 on Friday, November 12, 5-8pm. Masks will be worn. Friends and family who wish to honor Mark's memory may choose to make a donation to a favorite charity or to InterVarsity Christian Fellowship, PO Box 7895, Madison, WI 53707-7895 with a memo noting it is for Alison Marie Smith (one of his 'children') https://givetoiv.org/AlisonMarieSmith. Finally, love one another and be kind to one another. Friends and family may share memories online at www.brownfh.com.
