GARNET WATSON
MYRTLE BEACH, S.C. — Garnet Pauline Eplin Watson was born August 8, 1926. She passed away Saturday, December 26, 2015.
Born in Lincoln County, W.Va., she was a former resident of McConnell, W.Va., and a member of Rum Creek Baptist Church.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Darrell H. Watson, and parents, Ada Mae Smith and John Thomas Eplin. She was also preceded in death by her sisters: Oval Mae Queen, Marie Jeffers, Arribel Donahue, Elva Eplin, and Beatrice Eloise Pritchard, and one brother, Kenneth Eplin.
She spent her last five years living with her son, Gary "Butchie" and daughter-in-law Mary, in Myrtle Beach.
She is survived by her beloved children: daughter and son-in-law, George and Wanda Sue Watson Cooper, and sons and daughters-in-law: Gary Gene and Mary Rose Watson, Kenny Ray and Kathy Watson and Roger Dale and Wanda Watson. She is also survived by six dearly loved grandchildren; nine dearly loved great-grandchildren, and a host of nieces, nephews and faithful friends.
Viewing is 11 a.m. Wednesday, December 30th, followed by services at noon at Honaker Funeral Home with burial at Highlands Memorial Gardens.
