LLOYD "SAM" BRAMMER
PECKS MILL, W.Va. — Lloyd "Sam" Brammer, 62, of Pecks Mill, passed away Sunday, November 20th, 2016 at his residence.
Born January 19, 1954, at Beckley, W.Va., he was a son of the late Ronald Brammer and Garnette Ellison Brammer. In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by his brother, David Brammer of Logan.
Sam was employed at Thornhill Superstore in Chapmanville, W.Va. He enjoyed fishing, camping, spending time with his family and pets and working in his yard.
Survivors include his lifelong companion, Drema Workman of Pecks Mill; her children: Nathaniel (Carolyn) Workman, and Derrick (Rachel) Workman, and her eight grandchildren whom he loved as his own; his step-mother, Mildred Brammer of Logan; one brother, Howard (Martha) Brammer of Indiana; one sister, Connie (Donnie) Brown of Texas; one step-brother, Leslie Steel of The Philippines; one step-sister, Deanna (Joe) Ballard of Charleston, and a host of family and friends including a special friend, John Dickinson of Switzer.
Funeral service will be at 2 p.m. Sunday, November 27, at Freeman Funeral Home with Howard Brammer officiating. Burial will follow at Forest Lawn Cemetery at Pecks Mill.
Visitation will be from noon-2 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.
Pallbearers include: Nathaniel Workman, Derrick Workman, Zackery Workman, Donnie Brown, and Joe Ellison.
Freeman Funeral Home at Chapmanville is in charge of arrangements.
