SAM D. PAYNTER

SAM D. PAYNTER, 80, of Ocoee, FL (Orlando), formerly of Foster, W.Va., passed away Saturday, December 16, 2017, at Hospice near his home. He was preceded in death by his parents, Ernest Paynter and Gilda M. Lafferty. Sam retired from Drucker and Falk Properties in 1999, and in the past several years, gained quite a following in the area performing as a singer and guitarist. He had many friends, some of whom were considered family. He is survived by his loving and grateful family, son, Tom Paynter and wife Mary of Claremont, N.C.; daughter, Christi Paynter of Ocoee, Fla.; grandson, Matthew Paynter of Cornelius, N.C.; grandson, Douglas Vest and wife Sara of Ocoee, Fla., and former wife, Evelyn of Ocala, Fla. Gone from this world, our best friend, a great dad and a special man. Always in our hearts. No service at this time, but a celebration of his life will be held at a later date.
