Wayne Adkins Obituary
WAYNE ADKINS
DELBARTON, W.Va. — Wayne Adkins, 39, of Delbarton, W.Va., passed away at his home Thursday, July 14, 2016.
Born January 28, 1977, at South Williamson, Ky., he was a son of James Adkins of Delbarton and the late Alice Starr Adkins. He was also preceded in death by his brother, Jimmy Adkins.
Wayne was a disabled coal miner.
Those left behind to cherish his memories include his daughters, Melinda Adkins of Louisville, Ky., and Raylie, Marissa, Ashlynn and Alorah Adkins and Audrey Lanier, all of South Carolina; brothers, Clifford and wife April, Chad and wife Carolyn and Harmon and wife, Kristy, all of Delbarton; sisters, Eva and husband James Blackburn, Wendy and husband Kenny Smith and Aileen and husband Mike Crum, all of Delbarton; and special aunt, Helen (Tom) Fisher of Charleston. He also leaves behind several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and many cousins and friends.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday, July 20, at Chafin Funeral Home Chapel at Delbarton with Elders Eddie Layne and Ransom Chafin officiating. Burial will follow in Runyon Cemetery at Belo, W.Va.
Visitation will be from 6-9 p.m. Tuesday evening at the funeral home.
