Carol Jean Levora passed away Tuesday, Sept. 9, 2025 after a struggle with COPD and heart issues.
She enjoyed cooking and baking, especially bread. She was always excited when new babies were born and couldn't wait to spoil them. She loved spoiling her dogs and cats.
Her favorite things to do were to watch movies, especially old ones, listen to classic country and sing. She was always there to listen, give her opinion and share her ideas.
She was proud of her children and many grandchildren, great-grandchildren as well as her nieces, nephews and friends' children. She could never have had enough time to sit and talk with each of them.
She was preceded in death by her husband, John, grandchildren Nicolette, Daniel III, Melissa and CarolAnn; daughter Janell, and son-in-law Daniel Decker.
She is survived by sons, Albert (Fannae) Levora, Jesse (Trisha) Levora, Richard Bud (JoAnn) Levora and John Levora, as well as daughters, Colette Decker, Josette Tyson and Pollyanna Lane, and her many grandchildren and great-grandchildren and family friend, Ida "Beth" Hawkins.
Her life was celebrated by family and friends on Sept. 21 in Bangor, Mich. at Trinity Lutheran Church where she had been a member.
