Harriet Jones Obituary

Harriet Kay “Nancy” Jones (nee Comfort), age 92, of Mount Laurel, NJ passed away on Thursday, June 2nd, 2016, surrounded by her family, after living a long and blessed life. Nancy was born in Moorestown and resided in Mount Laurel for the majority of her life. She was a farmer for the family-owned Jones Homestead, in Mount Laurel. In addition to being a farmer and homemaker, Nancy was active in the Mount Laurel Ladies Auxiliary, Moorestown Grange, Red Cross Blood Bank, and both the Mount Laurel and Moorestown Friends Meeting. Nancy was preceded in death by her beloved husband of 65 years, Pete, in 2008. She is survived by her children, Harvey “Trip” Jones, III and Kay Schneider; grandchildren, Kelly Corrigan, Kristy Campbell, Tyler Jones, and Chris Jones; great-grandchildren, Mikayla Corrigan, Maddux Campbell, Kesler Campbell, and Shore Campbell; and many nieces and nephews. Friends and relatives are invited to a memorial service on Saturday, June 18 at 3:00 PM, at the Moorestown Friends Meetinghouse, 118 East Main Street, Moorestown. Interment will be private, at Eldridge Cemetery, Mount Laurel. Memorial donations, in Nancy’s name, cane be made to Samaritan Healthcare & Hospice5 Eves Drive, #300, Marlton; and the Mount Laurel Friends Meetinghouse, 1625 Hainesport Mount Laurel Road, Mount Laurel.
