Jo Ann Curran Obituary

TAUNTON Jo Ann (Olson) Fanjoy Curran, age 66 years, of East Taunton, formerly of Middleboro, died Wednesday, Sept. 30, 2009, at Morton Hospital, Taunton. She was the wife of James J. Curran Jr. Born in New Bedford, she was a daughter of Joseph and Alice (Morrell) Olson. She was a retired office manager for Cedar Knoll Cemetery, East Taunton, where she had worked for over 18 years. Her greatest joy was her dogs, Bingo and Snickers. She enjoyed playing bingo and loved spending time with her family. Survivors include her husband, five sons, Donald Fanjoy of Lemonister, Ronald Fanjoy of North Carolina, Daniel Fanjoy of Taunton, James Curran III of Boston, David Curran of Wareham; five daughters, Terri Fisher of Canada, Renee True of Middleboro, Yvonne Campbell of Franklin, Kelly Howes of Taunton, Lisa Curran of Middleboro; two brothers, Joseph Olson of New Jersey and John Olson of Duxbury; 19 grandchildren; two great-grandchildren. Visiting hours, to which relatives and friends are invited to attend, will be held Sunday, Oct. 4, in the Ashley Funeral Home, 35 Oak St., Middleboro, from 2-5 p.m., with a memorial service at 5 p.m. For more information, visit www.eggerandashley.com.
