My deepest sympathy to the Walsh Family. John was such a dedicated Scout Leader. I was impressed how he had his Scouts marching in the parades and the Eagle Scouts that were mentored by him as Scoutmaster. I know John did many great things for the town, but his legacy in Scouting will be always remembered by the Scouts he helped become young men. I'm very sorry to hear of big John's passing. I live out of state and a friend in Stoughton advised me. Haven't seen John since 1982. Your Dad was a great guy. Funny, honest and ethical. My condolences to all.

Priscilla, John, Dan, Joe, Meghan, and Erin: words can't accurately describe the relationship that Joh and I had over the years. We started in Scouts and it just kept going afterwards. He was a pretty cool guy and his family was #1 for him. I'm sure that he expressed his love for you time and time again. May his memory be a blessing.
