Josephine Donahue Obituary

Josephine (DePaul) Donahue, 90, a lifelong resident of Stoughton, died unexpectedly at Signature Healthcare Brockton Hospital in Brockton, Wednesday, Nov. 27, 2013. Born and raised in Stoughton, she attended Stoughton schools. Mrs. Donahue was the owner of Aunt Jos Bakery in Stoughton for many years. In her free time, she enjoyed baking, sewing and spending time with her grandchildren and family. She is survived by her children, Patricia A. Doherty and her husband Arthur of West Barnstable, John F. Donahue Jr. and his wife Marilyn of Stoughton and James J. Donahue and his wife Margaret of Halifax. She was the sister of Mary Scanlon of Stoughton and was predeceased by 4 brothers and 2 sisters. She is survived by 10 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews; and was predeceased by her granddaughter Alicia Marie Donahue. Funeral services will be held at a later date. Donations in her memory may be made to the Muscular Dystrophy Association, 33 Lyman Street # 205, Westborough, MA 01581, or to the American Cancer Society, 30 Speen St., Framingham, MA 01701.
