Mary L. Parenteau

Mary L. Gram (Magliano) Parenteau, of Onset, formerly of Brockton passed peacefully in her home on March 27, 2014. She was the loving wife of Guy J. Parenteau Sr. for 53 years before his passing in 2000. Mary was born in Brockton, MA to Frank and Flora (Vacca) Magliano and had resided in Wareham since 1987. Mary is survived by her eight children, Jeanne Niccoli and her husband Dennis of Clermont, Fla.; Mary Healy and her husband Robert of Clermont, Fla.; Linda Boyd and her husband Kenneth of Wareham, Mass.; Richard Parenteau and his wife Peg of Brockton, Mass.; Thomas Parenteau and his wife Carol, of Wareham, Mass.; James Parenteau and his wife Kelly of Mashpee, Mass.; William Parenteau and his wife Cindy of Marshfield, Mass. and Guy Parenteau and his wife Karen of Berkley, Mass.. Mary was the sister of Elena Cammarano of Onset and the late Frank Magliano, Frederick Magliano, and Tina Mossey all of Brockton. She also leaves 18 grandchildren, 22 great-grandchildren and one great-great grandson. Mary was employed for many years by South Shore Oil Heat Supply in Brockton and by Cold Storage Solutions in Lakeville for the past seven years. In her free time she enjoyed gardening and cooking for her family and friends. Visiting hours will be held in the Conley Funeral Home, 138 Belmont Street (Rte 123), Brockton on Tuesday 4 - 8 p.m. The funeral procession will gather at the funeral home on Wednesday at 8 a.m. for a Funeral Mass in St. Edith Stein Church at 9 am.
