Rose M. McAlinden

PLYMPTON Rose M. (Kimmel) McAlinden, 90, of Plympton, died Jan. 9, at the Golden Living Center, in Plymouth. She was the wife of the late Paul McAlinden; loving mother of Daniel McAlinden of Plympton, Paul McAlinden of Connecticut, Stephen McAlinden of California and Claire Skerrett of North Carolina; grandmother of James, Danny, John, Stephen, Shannon, Stacey, Craig, Chris, Melanie; and great-grandmother of five. She was the sister of the late Frank Kimmell, George Kimmell and Sr. Rose St. Francis. Rose loved her family and her home. She loved her yard and she was an avid gardener. Funeral from the Shepherd Funeral Home, 216 Main St., Kingston, Friday, Jan. 16, at 8 a.m., followed by a funeral Mass at Our Lady of the Lake Church, Halifax, at 9 a.m. Burial will be at a later date in Hillcrest Cemetery, Plympton.
