Ruth Geller

Ruth Geller of Roslindale, formerly of Brockton, died at the Hebrew Rehabilitation Center in Roslindale, Saturday, Dec. 31, 2011. She was 86 years old. Born in Boston, she was the daughter of the late Louis and Bertha (Goffman) Cooper. She had previously worked in the Merchandising Inventory Control Dept. of the former Morse Shoe Co. in Canton. She was the wife of the late Julius Geller. She is survived by her daughters, Lois Winer and her husband Arthur of Stoughton and Karen Rosenfeld and her husband Lenny of Yardley, PA. She was the grandmother of Robin, Adam and his fiance Rachel, Marissa, Bari, Jesse and great-grandmother of Jacob and Matthew. She is also survived by her brothers Irving Cooper and Abe Cooper. Services at Schlossberg Solomon Memorial Chapel, 824 Washington St., Canton, Monday, Jan. 2, 20121 at 1:30 p.m. Interment at the Stepiner Cemetery, Baker St., West Roxbury.
