Stephen J. Roy, passed away at the age of 65 on May 15, 2016. Steve was a lifelong Brockton resident. Mr. Roy was the executive director of the Whitman-Hanson Community Access Television Studio for many years. Steve was an accomplished musician. He specialized in researching the JFK assassination and his contributions were recognized in over 13 books. Most of all, he was a caring and loving father and husband and will be sorely missed. Beloved husband of Michele S. (Willens) Roy, he was the devoted father of Simone and Evette Roy; the brother of the late Nancy Cucchiara. Friends and family are invited to a funeral service Thursday, May 19, at Melrose Cemetery in Brockton at 10 a.m., followed by a Shiva at the Roy residence at 128 Thurber Ave., Brockton, through 9 p.m. Shiva will resume on Sunday from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. Arrangements by the Clancy-Lucid Funeral Home, Weymouth.
