Sylvia M. Yunits

HOLBROOK Sylvia M. (Morrissey) Yunits, of Holbrook, died May 17, 2009, at the age of 81. She was the wife of the late John T. Yunits; loving mother of John T. Jack Yunits and his wife Lees of Brockton, Amy Holmes and her husband Tom of Bridgewater, Patty Coyne and her husband Jim of Mansfield and Michael Yunits and his wife Erin of Holbrook; sister of John Morrissey of Quincy, Sr. Mildred Morrissey of Georgia, Marie Malloy and Daniel Morrissey, both of Brockton, David Morrissey of Rhode Island and the late Anne Morrissey. Also survived by 14 grandchildren. Sylvia was a member of the Josephines and the Ladies Sodality. She had spent the last 2 years at Victorian Mansion in South Attleboro and before that was a resident of Holbrook for 57 years. Reposing at the Cartwright Funeral Home, 69 South Franklin St. (Rte. 37), Holbrook, until 8:15 a.m. Wednesday, followed by a funeral Mass at 9 a.m. in St. Joseph Church, Holbrook. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend. Visiting hours Tuesday, 4-8 p.m. Burial in Blue Hill Cemetery, Braintree.
