Dear Dolly and family, I am so sorry that we have all lost such a wonderful and humble man. A man of principals who really cared about the values of family and friends. He would work to help someone in need whenever he could, sacrificing his own time to help others. He often gave of himself for those in need, and never said a word about it. A kind gentle man. The best brother in law.

Auntie Dolly, Suzanne, Loreen, Chris, Paul and Will -- I am so very sorry for the loss you guys are experiencing. Life will never be the same for any of us, but especially not for you. Uncle Butch is such a good man: a wonderful husband, a terrific father, and an unbelievably fabulous grandfather, not to mention an awesome father-in-law. He even got his own father-in-law to love him even though he wasn't Italian, which had been the requirement up until then. As an uncle, he is the best. He never had a bad thing to say about anyone, he always looked for the good, and he was so generous and caring and funny, too! He used to tease my sister when she would say "Uncle Dotch" came over. She never knew if it was him or Uncle George when she was about 3 years old (so she picked a name that sounded like both Butch and George) and he would always say he was Uncle George just to confuse her. He is a wonderful man and he will be dearly missed. I am here for all of you for whatever you need in the coming days, weeks, months, and whenever. I love you all.
