Angelo Umbrianna Obituary

Angelo Umbrianna., 80 of Chicopee died on June 29, 2010 after a period of failing health. Husband of the late Catherine (Caplice) Umbrianna, he was a son of the late George and Agnes (Mains) Umbrianna. Angelo was a proud veteran of the armed services, serving in the United States Air Force. He worked for many years as a letter carrier for the Unites States Postal Service. Mr. Umbrianna was a member of the Knights of Columbus Council # 69, The American Legion Post #452, and the V.F.W. Post #625, all of Chicopee. He was also a member of the Air Force Seargents Association. Angelo loved to golf and collect stamps and coins. He also enjoyed his winter trips to Florida. Mr. Umbrianna was the brother of Carl R. Umbrianna" of Rockland and Barbara A. DeScenzo of Colarado Spring CO. Also brother of the late, Mary Umbrianna, Rose Lemos, Carol Umbrianna, George Unbrianna and William Henry. Also survived by many, many nieces and nephews. The Umbrianna family welcomes friends and loved ones to celebrate Angelos life at the Magoun-Biggins Funeral Home on Thursday, July 1, 2010 from 5-8 p.m. A funeral Mass will be celebrated on Friday July 2, 2010 at 8:15 a.m from the Magoun-Biggins Funeral Home, 135 Union St, ROCKLAND. A Funeral Mass will follow in the Holy Family Church at 9:00 AM. Burial will take place in the Holy Family Cemetery in Rockland.
