Ann Hoeft Obituary

Ann Hoeft passed away June 27, 2014, after a lengthy illness, surrounded by her family. She was 80 years old. Ann was born Nov. 29, 1933, in Randolph, Mass. She was the daughter of the late Alfred and Alice Quimby. She graduated from Randolphs Stetson High School and worked until meeting and marrying Frank Hoeft. They made Randolph their family home with their three children until moving to Merritt Island, Fla., in 2004. Ann loved working in the garden and sewing. There arent enough words to express how much she loved her family. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and aunt. Ann was preceded in death by her son, Mark; granddaughter, Laura and her brother, Alfred Quimby Jr. She is survived by her devoted husband, Frank; daughters, Christine, Paula (and Anura) Guruwatte; grandchildren, David, Bianca, Tania and Nathan; sisters Dorothea (and Harrison) Howland, Gail Giuliana and Alice (and Bob) Austin; brothers, James (and Deena) Quimby, Paul (and Barbara) Quimby and David (and Lillian) Quimby; as well as many loving nieces, nephews and friends. A viewing took place Wednesday, July 2, 2014, at Newcomer Funeral Home in Titusville, Fla., at 11 a.m., followed by a brief service at 12 p.m. Ann will be laid to rest at the Florida National Cemetery in Bushnell, Fla.
