Catherine Madill Obituary

Catherine (Kelly) Madill, 87, of Marshfield passed away on Sunday, March 10, 2013 at Bay Path Nursing Residence in Duxbury. Catherine was born in Boston and moved to Marshfield in the early sixties. She worked as a secretary in the Marshfield School Departments Central office for many years before retiring in 1991. Catherine was a loving, devoted wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister and aunt. She was a sweet and cherished person who will be deeply missed by her family and all who knew her. She was an avid reader, loved knitting and crocheting, delighted in ballroom dancing with her husband but most important to her was her family. Beloved wife of the late Robert E Madill. Beloved mother of daughter, Kathleen Graf; son-in-law Norm Graf; son, Robert Madill; and daughter-in-law Carol Madill all of Marshfield. She also leaves behind her beloved grandchildren, Derek and Jason Graf; Cara (Madill) Lafond; Jenna Madill; and great-grand daughter, Delaney Lafond. Also survived by her loving sisters, Chris Morrissey and Pat Joyce and many nieces and nephews. A private family service arranged by MacDonald Funeral Home, Marshfield was conducted on Saturday, March 16. Burial was at Plymouth County Memorial Park.
