Hello Fred, George and Dennis,
I just wanted to offer a very belated note of sympathy for your Dad’s passing. I remember him well from the stores and I may have delivered the Enterprise to either your home or your grandmother’s? I finally have my turn to read your Dad’s wonderful book? Good memories! The book has passed along through my old gang of pals since it was purchased by Ray Morell. I got it from Paul Schroth and sending it to Nick Bougas. I’m happy to made it home safely George! Your Dad was a good man! May he rest in peace. I will never forget scaling that high stone wall at your Grandma’s house or the party I attended there one night? Fred had some cool tricks! I’m pretty sure I saw Fred at one of our reunions? A good family and I wish you all a happy and safe life?

Learned too late...sympathy to all. Charley was always very kind to my family, and I will always be grateful for that. I remember my first encounter with Charley when I was 10 and flush with paper route earnings...I was late arriving at the store Charley owned, and I desprately needed to buy a 45 record...Charley was just locking up, but said he would open if I indeed bought a record. I had visions of Elvis and Chuck Berry. Well, I kept my end of the bargain by walking out with a 45 by Frankie Lane (and it wasn't "Rawhide")...oh man. My best to you folks...it was great to know Charley. Stay well.
