David Cleary Obituary
Born in Boston, David was raised in Braintree and was a 2001 graduate of Braintree High School.
Son of Marc and Joanne (Houle) Cleary of Braintree. Brother of Dean Cleary. Nephew of Jane Cleary of N. Weymouth and Anne Dee and her husband, Michael, of Norwell. Also survived by many close friends on Marthas Vineyard.
His work was his life and David will always be remembered by his signature smile.
Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the visiting hours on Wednesday 4-8 p.m. in the McDonald Keohane Funeral Home South Weymouth at 809 Main Street (Rte 18 opp. So. Shore Hospital) Relatives and friends will gather in the funeral home at 9:15 a.m. on Thursday prior to the Funeral Mass in St. Clares Church, Braintree at 10 a.m. Burial will follow in Blue Hill Cemetery, Braintree. Anne and Janeno words can express how sad this loss is for you and your family. May you find some comfort in knowing David went to heaven and was greeted there at the pearly gates by family members that passed before him. Remember the twinkle in his eye is now but a twinkle in the sky. Look to the heavens at night; find the brightest star, for there he will be. Dave, you were one of my dearest friends, we never lost touch even when I moved off island, you were the most kind hearted person I know. I miss your jokes and seeing you every day at the store. We have had a lot of memories and I will alway have you in my heart.

We are sorry to hear of Dave's passing and thought he was a great guy from the day we met him. We are his next door neighbors in Edgartown and he always had a smile and a hello. We were stunned and deeply saddened by the chain of events and once again are very sorry for your loss.

I have known Dave for the better of 10 years or so. A vendor with an island company we worked closely with him in that time period. I have come to know him as a extremely hardworking very capable individual in all that he took on. He always sought out conversation about a array of subjects that were both personal and professional. Dave was a very decent kid who had an infectious smile and he will not be forgotten. Our hearts ache for his friends and family. He will be sorely missed by ALL who have come to know him. He made a difference in other peoples lives for the better and for that we can only be grateful.
