I was very saddened to hear of Aunt Eileen's passing -- remember her humor, and yes the "south shore accent" as if it were yesterday when we got together while growing up.

So very sorry to hear about Aunt Eileen and will keep her in my thoughts and prayers. May you take comfort in knowing she is at peace. Unfortunately as years go by we often lose track of one another -- I am your cousin, Leona, the daughter of Robert and Theresa.

Mrs. Engdahl,
Maam, I would just like to say thank you for your service and sacrifice for our Country when you served with the USCG and U.S. Navy Auxillary during WW II and for being a member of the Greatest Generation. And to your family and loved ones, I wish to extend my deepest sympathy.

We were so sorry to read of Eileen's death. Our parents Marion and Irv were longtime friends of your Mom's from Resurrection Church and Whiting Street neighbors. Our Dad died in January and Mom is now at Harbor House. Every time I drive by Eileen's house I wondered how she was doing. God bless you all at this difficult time. Sincerely, Judy and Mary Ellen White

I am so sorry to read about Eileen's passing. She was a very good friend to my Mom, Peg Standring.
I kept in touch with Eileen for a while by email after my Mom passed away but stopped getting responses some time ago.
I've thought of her every time I pass the house.
My prayers are with you all at this time.
(Those two ladies must have had one heck of a reunion up there in Heaven.)

To my Engdahl cousins, my sympathy at the loss of your Mom. I have many fond memories of Auntie Eileen, especially the summer I spent with you all in Boston/Hingham and her many trips to Santa Barbara. With love, Mary
