Ernie captured a place in our hearts from the first time we met. He will certainly live on in our memories.
One special memory I will always cherish is the time that my dad, Ernie, Steve and I went fishing together on Steve's boat out by Boston Light. My dad's health was deterioating and Ernie had my dad laughing more than he had in a long time.
Although the fishing was fun, one highlight of that day was when my dad was sitting on the bench seat and we went over a wave and the seat broke - no injuries, just a sore stomach from all of us laughing so hard.
Shortly after, my dad passed away and his wish was to have his ashes spread out by one his favorite places, Boston Light.
Steve brought my dad's ashes and us out on his boat to his place of rest at Boston Light.
It was a crystal clear beautiful day - and somehow, a rainbow appeared in the sky.
I beleive Ernie and my dad are together sharing some smiles right now.
Our sincere sympathy to the family and everyone that was touched by Ernie's rare and special personality.
The Goulski family,
Greg, Maggie, Gregory, Krysten and Grammy.

Very sorry to hear about Ernie's passing. He was such a nice man, very funny and a pleasure to take care of. I remember how much he loved music, and how happy he was when we found some old sheet music for him. I was also happy to run into him again at Harbor House last year. Deepest sympathies to Ernie's very nice and caring family.
