Eugene C. Bowden Sr.

Eugene Cyril Bowden Sr., aged 80 years, of Taunton, formerly of Manomet, Mass., which is a seaside village of Plymouth, died on Sunday, March 18, 2018, after a lengthy illness. He was the husband of the late Viola (Standish) Bowden, who predeceased him in 2006. Born in Harmony, Maine, son of the late Cyril and Geraldine (Hodgdon) Bowden. He was a retired computer technician with E.C.H. of Plymouth. Survivors include three children, Geraldine Richards, of ME, Kimberly Thorte, of Maine, Eugene Bowden Jr., of Plymouth, a sister, Virginia Charette, of Plymouth, step-children, Alfred Charette, Richard Charette, Edward Charette, Kathleen Geary, 10 grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren, 2 nieces. Visiting hours will be held on Thursday, March 22, from 2 - 4 p.m. in the Ashley Funeral Home, 35 Oak St. Middleboro, with a service to be held at 3:30 p.m. in the funeral home.
