Mr Mac was my gym teacher back in the late 1970's and early 1980's. I really got to know him at after school gymnastics where we would have trampoline battles. He would always use his double back somersault to defeat me in the end. After graduation I would see him at the gym and we did some karate sparring a couple of times and of course I would see him in the beer booth at the Brockton Fair. It is unfortunate that he had to go so soon. He will live on in the great memories of all who knew him.

I am so sorry for all of you, Jim was a great guy, I am lucky enough to know him in many ways, first as a teacher, then as a collegue for over 20 years and most importantly as a friend. Oh the stories he could tell, especially the ones from the old school. But for those of us lucky enough to hear his stories, the ones that brought the biggest smile to his face are the ones of his grand
daughter (we called her the "princess"). Jim lit up every time someone asked
him what his "princess" was up to. He will be so missed by everyone and for me his stories will always bring a smile to my face.
