Jean Bilbo

Jean (Reardon) Bilbo of Norwell, died on Thursday, March 18, 2010. Beloved mother of Stephen R. and his wife Mary Anne of RI, Cynthia J. and her husband George Combes of NH and Laura A. and her husband Kevin Raftery of Rockland. Sister of Barbara Broderick of NY, her identical twin sister Joan Woodlock of Norwell, Gerald Reardon of Walpole and the late Edward and William Reardon. Grammy to Dan, Sean, Ted, Brian, Bridget, Erin, Mitchell, Andrew, Connor and great grandson Jett. Also survived by many nieces and nephews. Jean was a 1950 graduate of Braintree High School. She worked at New England Telephone, Woolworth's of Quincy and retired from Jordan Marsh/Macy's, after working as a sales associate for 28 years. Bowling was one of her pastimes and she belonged to the South Shore Women's Bowling League in Hanover and previously E. Weymouth. As a member of the Norwell Council on Aging, she participated in many activities. She was an avid Red Sox and Patriots fan. Above all else, her family was the most important part of her life. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the visiting hours Sunday, March 21 from 4-8 p.m. in the Pyne Keohane Funeral Home, 21 Emerald St. (off Central St.), HINGHAM. A Celebration of Life Service will be held in the funeral home at 8:15 a.m. on Monday, March 22 prior to the funeral Mass in Holy Family Church, Rockland at 9 a.m. Burial in Washington Street Cemetery, Norwell.
