Joanne F. DeSario

Joanne F. (Garofano) DeSario, of Braintree, passed away surrounded by her loving family on October 7, 2017. Joanne was born and raised in East Boston to the late Frank and Mary Garofano. She attended East Boston Girls High School and worked for many years at Marsh and McClennan Agency. Joanne enjoyed reading and was intellectually savvy. She was also a wonderful homemaker, loved to cook, and treasured time with her three children and seven grandsons. She joins the love of her life, the late Joseph A. DeSario, whom she shared 53 years of blissful marriage. They spent many years vacationing in Clearwater and Port Charlotte, Florida. Beloved mother of Diane Hachey of South Weymouth, Andrea Acampora and her husband Anthony of Hanover, and Frank DeSario and his wife Andrea of Wilmington. Treasured Nonnie to her seven grandsons; Zachary, Jonathan and Kevin Hachey, Michael and Christopher Acampora and Joseph and Matthew DeSario. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the visiting hours on Wednesday 4 - 8 p.m. in the McDonald Keohane Funeral Home, South Weymouth, at 809 Main Street (Rte 18 opp. So.
