Kathryn T. (Bouzan) Zenahlik, 77, of Marshfield passed away at home surrounded by her family on Friday, July 23, 2021, after a lengthy battle with cancer. She fought hard and showed her amazing strength through her 2nd cancer attack. She was predeceased by her husband Harland. Kathryn was born in Boston, on August 4, 1943, to the late Michael and Eileen (Sullivan) Bouzan of Halifax. She was raised in Dorchester and graduated from Cardinal Cushing Central High School, in South Boston. She worked for a number of years locally as a clerk in the Halifax Town Collector's Office, a secretary for the MADD-PlymouthCounty Chapter, and as an administrative assistant for Image Arts, Inc., in Marshfield. During a brief stint in Maine, she worked as a clerk in the Maine State Treasury Office. Upon returning home to Massachusetts, she held local jobs with UMass Boston-Plymouth branch, Kohl's in Pembroke, and Marshall's in Marshfield. When she was not working, Kathryn loved spending time with her family. One of her favorite pastimes was reading at the beach while listening to the ocean waves in the background. She also loved Disney and Mickey, and thoroughly enjoyed her trips down to Florida. Kathryn was the devoted mother of John "Randy" Brenton Jr. of Pembroke, Michael R. Brenton and his wife Rebekah Tierney of Hingham, and Katie T. Brenton of Weymouth; stepmother of William Zenahlik and his wife Meredith of California and Elizabeth Kelly and her husband Brendan of California; loving sister of Edward Bouzan and his wife Barbara of Quincy, Linda Varitimos and her partner Manny Tavares of Halifax, and the late John "Jack" Bouzan, and Peter and Janice Meehan; cherished grandmother to Heather, Charles John "CJ", and Nolan Brenton of Pembroke, and Samuel Kelly of California. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews. Visiting hours will be held at the Sullivan Funeral Homes, 551 Washington Street, Route 53, Hanover on Thursday, July 29, from 4-7 p.m. In lieu of flowers, please donate to the non-profit organization, Score for a Cure, located in Plymouth. They showed her much love and support during her fight with cancer. And she loved to volunteer during their soccer tournament fundraisers. Score for a Cure, P.O.
