Lillian F. Cadigan

Lillian F. (McCarthy) Cadigan of Quincy, died November 29, 2017. Beloved wife of 59 years to the late Dennis J. Cadigan Jr., she was the loving mother of Dennis B. Cadigan and his companion Suzanne Brooks of Quincy, Brian J. Cadigan and his wife Kathleen of Marshfield, Barbara Doyle of Lexington, Paul J. Cadigan and his wife Susan of Stoughton and Kevin Cadigan and his wife Elizabeth of Hingham; devoted grandmother of Jennifer, James, Katelyn, Meghan, Caroline, Brian, Jonathan, Christopher, Michael and the late Jeremiah; cherished great-grandmother of Violet, Liam, Joseph and Jameson; caring sister of the late Mary T. Burke and John J. McCarthy. Also survived by many nieces and nephews. Lillian's family was the center of her life She was a devoted Catholic and member of the Sacred Heart Church in Quincy and a long time member of the Catholic Woman's Club. Lillian enjoyed sewing, knitting and ceramics and was an extraordinary cook. She was an avid sports fan including golf. Lillian treasured being a wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. She will be sadly missed but never forgotten. In keeping with Lillian's wishes, services are private.
