Lorelei Dalrymple Obituary

ROCKLAND Lorelei M. (Colebourn) Dalrymple, 70 of Rockland died at the South Shore Hospital in Weymouth on October 12, 2008. She was born in Brighton, daughter of the late Anthony and Zerelda (Morel) Colebourn and was raised and educated there. She received an accounting degree from Massasoit Community College. Mrs. Dalrymple retired in 1993 after working as an office clerk at Grossmans in Braintree for 10 years. She loved to design scrap books and spend her spare time with her grandchildren. Wife of the late Chester B. Dalrymple who died in 1996, she is survived by her children Michael A. Dalrymple and Steven M. Dalrymple of Rockland, Kathleen M. Dixon and Pamela S. McGivney of PA, Susan T. Lasky of Hudson, and Denise Y. Forte of Holbrook. She was the sister of Kenneth Colebourn of Weymouth, Donald Colebourn of Centerville and Beverly Elfbaum of Canton. Also surviving are 14 grandchildren and 2 great grandsons as well as many nieces and nephews. Visiting in the Magoun-Biggins Funeral Home 135 Union St. ROCKLAND will be held on Wednesday, October 15, 2008 from 5-8 PM. A Funeral Service officiated by Rev. Paul Taylor of the Flame of Fire Covenant Church will be held at the funeral home on Thursday October 16, 2008 at 11:30 AM. Burial will follow in Holy Family Cemetery in Rockland. Words can not express the shock and pain over the loss of Mimi, she was a wonderful woman, always smiling and always willing to help, I will miss the the "hi, honey" I received every time I saw her, please know you and Bill and the kids are in our prayers. Her strong faith has her in a much better please.
