Dearest Peter and Joanne: I was so saddened to hear that your handsome, heroic son bravely gave his life for our country. I am so very grateful for his service. There are no words to describe the emotions you are feeling with the loss of your son/brother. No one should have to suffer the pain of losing a family member at such a young age.
Our hearts go out to you. We feel your pain as we mourn the loss of our precious son, 22 year old Cpl. John M Dawson, US Army, KIA Afghanistan on April 8, 2015.

He was never afraid to speak his mind and defend what he believed in, but also never disrespectful in doing so.
