Priscilla Maggiani Obituary

Priscilla Jean "Pat" Maggiani peacefully passed away on August 25, 2018. At the time, she was living at the Fenno House in North Quincy, receiving excellent care and enjoying being surrounded by an increasing number of friends. Pat was the last Maggiani of her generation, being predeceased by a brother, Alfred K. Maggiani, and sisters, Clara Benedini and Leonora Sisti. She was predeceased by niece, Beverly Schlanger, and nephew, Donald Sisti, and is survived by nieces, Marilyn Sisti and Shaa Clark; and by nephews, Robert Sisti, Michael Maggiani, Richard Maggiani, David Maggiani, and Robert Maggiani. Pat was a lifelong resident of South Quincy. She graduated from the Wilfred Academy of Hair and Beauty Culture for Hairdressing and Cosmetology in 1947. She spent many years at various hairdressing salons on the South Shore, caringly tending to her many clients who enjoyed her flair for the creative. Pat's lasting legacy was her love of life. Pat was one of a kind, always quick with a smile and a hearty laugh. Oftentimes an audacious dresser - purple being her favorite color - she enjoyed life to the fullest. She spent many happy hours dancing and enjoying the company of her close friends. Although her family is heartbroken at her loss, they are grateful for all the joy Pat brought them over the years. She will be sadly missed and fondly remember by all who knew her. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend a celebration of life Mass at Saint Mary's Church, 95 Crescent Street, Quincy, on Saturday, October 6, 2018, at 10:30 a.m. Burial is private. In lieu of flowers, donations in Pat's memory may be made to the Fenno House Activity Fund, 540 Hancock Street, Quincy, MA 02170.
