Robert Corey Obituary

Robert A. Corey, 86 years of age, passed away Nov. 20, under the caring staff at Linden Ponds in Hingham. He was born in Walpole, son of the late Cecil R. and Alice M. Corey. He resided in Braintree and Norwell most of his life and was a World War II veteran having served in the U.S. Air Force. He was clerk of the Corporations of Andrew & Pierce, South Shore Terminals, Christie Transfer and R.A. Pierce Trucking from 1948 until the time of his passing. Beloved husband of the late Marjorie C. (Fozzy) Corey, he leaves two sons, E. Warren Pierce III of Rochester and Richard A. Pierce of Hanson; loving grandfather to Richard Jr., Robert, Aubre, E. Warren IV and Thomas; also leaves two sisters, Aline Manninen and her son James of Walpole, Judy Smith and her husband Don of Burlington; a brother, Don and his wife Charlene of Stow. He was predeceased by his brother, Cecil R. Corey Jr., and sisters, Helen C. Stott, Irene C. Wilson and Jeanette C. Bly. In compliance with Bobs wishes, visitation and funeral services were omitted.
