Ronald Aprea Obituary

Ronald A. Aprea, a 38-year and proud Hingham resident, died May 1, 2015. The beloved husband of 47 years to Rosalie (DiTocco) Aprea of Hingham, he was the loving father of Lee Ann Arbia and her husband John of Hanover, Matthew Aprea and his wife Rebekah of Wellesley and Jonathan Aprea of Hanover; brother of Phyllis Cuoco of Weymouth; cherished Bubba to Maia and Aria Arbia, Andrei Aprea and Augustine and Sinclaire Aprea. He was a proud graduate of Northeastern University and received his master's degree from Boston College. Ronald worked as a Federal Agent for the IRS for 37 years. Both he and his wife Rosalie were members of the Down East Dancers as well as members of the AARP Braintree Chapter. The cornerstone of his life was his family, he adored them and in returned they cherished him. He will be remembered as a true gentleman, who passed on his strong work ethic to his family. He was a wonderful and devoted husband, father and grandfather who enjoyed every minute he spent with his family. He will be sadly missed by all those who knew him. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the visiting hours Monday 4-8 p.m. in the Pyne Keohane Funeral Home, 21 Emerald St. (off Central St.), Hingham. A celebration of life service will be held in the funeral home at 9:15 a.m. Tuesday prior to the funeral Mass in Church of the Resurrection, Hingham, at 10 a.m. Burial in St. Pauls Cemetery, Hingham. The Aprea family would like to express their sincere thanks to NVNA and to the ALS Foundation for all the wonderful care they extended to the entire family during this difficult time.
