Ruth P. Gorham

Ruth P. (Flansburg) Gorham, of Weymouth, died April 15, 2014. Beloved wife of 58 years of William C. Gus Gorham of Weymouth. Loving mother of Dianne Freedman and her husband Edward of Attleboro, William Gorham Jr. and Karen Walsh of Rockland, Robert Gorham and his wife Donna of Plympton, Jayne Mocker and her hsuband Kevin of Attleboro, Karyn Bowen and her husband Brian of Holyoke. Cherished grandmother of Rhiannon, Kyle, Jake, Nicholas, and Yana. For over 22 years, Ruth was a substitute teacher in the Quincy Public Schools. She was a voracious reader that loved gardening knitting, crocheting, traveling and dancing. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the visiting hours on Monday 4 - 8 p.m. in the McDonald Keohane Funeral Home East Weymouth, at 3 Charles Street (corner of Charles and Middle Street). Relatives and friends will gather in the funeral home at 9:30 a.m. Tuesday prior to the funeral Mass in Immaculate Conception Church, Weymouth at 10:30 a.m. Burial in MA National Cemetery, Bourne, Tuesday at 1:30 p.m. Donations may be made in Ruths memory to the Alzheimer's Association, 480 Pleasant St., Watertown, MA 02472.
