I met Sarah when we worked at the Ventress Memorial Library many years ago. There was an elegance about her, a softness that was truly beautiful. How fortunate was I to have this Goddess in my life as a teenager. Wrapping all who love her in prayer.

I am so very sad to hear of Sarah's passing. She was the sweetest, most compassionate, caring woman I have had the pleasure of knowing. I lived upstairs from her in her home on Ocean Street for ten years. She was like another mother to me, and I will miss her dearly. I enjoyed chatting with her over a cup of tea on many occasions. I also enjoyed her Harp playing especially in the mornings, it was a soothing way to wake up. She always made me feel better when I was down or feeling troubled. She would always leave me little gifts and the sweetest notes. She had the most beautiful handwriting and I will cherish all the cards and notes she gave me over the years! I will always remember her sweet, gentle voice, and tender heart, and the way she could always make me feel that things would be okay. I was truly blessed to have known such a beautiful soul! My heart goes out to her entire family. May she rest in peace.

To her Sister Sue and Daughters Sue and Kim I so sorry for your loss. It had been many years since I saw your mom and sister but this loss feels like family.I remember she was there for my Mom during her hard times and even me when I needed a shoulder to cry on. She was my first guitar teacher and she opened me up to listen to different and all kinds music. May Sarah rest in peace and to her family and partner I am so sorry for your loss. May God bless her always and you all during this difficult time. I cant be there but instead I will pick up my guitar and play the Gordon Lightfoot song she taught me " Beautiful " tonight and hope she can hear me in heaven .Peace

Many vacation trips to the Driftwood Inn on Bailey Island, Maine, where Sarah would beat me at Scrabble, walks to Mackerel Cove, Giant Stairs and sitting on the porch listening to the surf reading a good book. It was a joy working in the DPW with her and friendship for many years. Condolences to her family.
