Thomasina Bunny J. Pigeon, 70, died peacefully at home on September 15, while surrounded by her loving daughters. Bunny was the beloved daughter of the late James and Mary Jane (Scott) Mowbray and grew up in Weymouth. She was a graduate of Weymouth High School, Class of 1963, and would marry Norman Pigeon on October 17, 1969. They settled in Rockland where Bunny was a homemaker and part time administrative assistant for various offices on the South Shore. Throughout her life, Bunny loved fun filled day trips to Boston with her family where she enjoyed strolls through the gardens, the food at Faneuil Hall, and shopping for bargains at Filenes Basement. Bunnys greatest joy was spending time with her friends and family enjoying lively holidays, weekend visits, or going out for leisurely lunches. She will be dearly missed by her Oak Point friends and neighbors as she always loved the community there. Playing cards with her friends, doing a Pilates class, or helping with the Oak Point Womens Club were some of her favorite activities. Bunny was the loving wife of the late Norman Pigeon; and mother of Carolyn J. Davidson and her husband Michael of Middleboro, and Denise L. Connors and her husband Richard of Halifax; proud Nana of Rachel, Michael, Liana, and Alex; sister of Beverly Broderick of Fla., and the late Betty Hatch. Also survived by many nieces, nephews, and friends. All funeral services are private. In lieu of flowers, donations may be sent to the Jimmy Fund, 10 Brookline Place West, 6th Floor, Brookline, MA 02445-7226. For online guest book, visit Prophett-Chapman Cole & Gleason 508-697-4332

So sorry to hear of your mother passing. Please comfort one another through prayer and may all the loving memories you've had together bring smiles to your faces. (2 Thessalonians 2:16, 17) May God comfort your heart and give you peace.

To Carolyn, Denise, and your families, please accept my deepest condolences. Your mother was one in a million. I was very blessed to have had her for a friend and treasured confidant for almost forty years. We shared the joys and trials of raising our children and of watching them blossom into the adults they are today. We celebrated their weddings and rejoiced when they blessed us with grandchildren. We also shared the sorrow of losing loved ones. Bunny was always there for me with an encouraging word, a helping hand, and a listening ear. And we laughed. We laughed at ourselves. We laughed at each other. And we laughed together at life. We always talked about growing old together and sitting side by side in rocking chairs at the nursing home. Wherever she is now I hope she has reserved my chair right next to her. I will miss her more than words can describe. She was my forever friend, and she will be forever in my heart.

Our sincere sympathies for the loss of your Mom. We knew Bunny thru my Mom and she came to many and even helped with some events we had at the Commercial Club. She was a wonderful woman - full of energy and laughs. Our thoughts and prayers are with all of you during this difficult time. Donald and Deborah (Pray) Ferbert.

Our Deepest Sympathy to the Pigeon Family. May Bunny Rest in Peace. She certainly was an inspiration to all the Oak Point Commuity. Had a chance to speak with her at the Bocce Banquet and she still was very positive. We will miss Bunny. Marty Foley & Maureen Stevens.

Our Pilates class isn't quite the same without Bunny there. She was a shining light in the class and had a wonderful sense of humor. I will miss her dearly. I'm glad I got to know her at Oak Point. My condolences to her family. My thoughts and prayers are with you.
