William H. Curran II

1966 - 2019

William Harold Curran II, known affectionately as Billy, passed away peacefully in his sleep, on January 22, 2019. He is survived by his son, Nick; former spouse and dear friend, Jennifer; brothers, Jack, Shawn and his wife Jenny, and Danny; nieces, Alaina Tolland, Hannah Curran; nephews, Joseph Curran and Ryan Curran; aunts and uncles, many cousins, and countless friends. He was the brother of the late Patrick "PJ" Curran. He was born December 24, 1966, in Weymouth, to parents William and Joyce Curran of Halifax. Billy was a graduate of Silver Lake High School in 1984. He was the employee of Fromelt, Savin, Tecta, and K1. He was a tremendous worker. He made sure all jobs he did were done thoroughly and correct. His work ethic set him apart. He was a kind hearted man who brightened the lives of all who had the pleasure of knowing him. He was known to light up any room with his bright smile. An avid sports fan, he played sports growing up. He became a large influence in his son's athletics. He coached him in baseball and football, being a part of two championship teams. He would spend countless days in the backyard playing catch with his son, having him run drills and sharing the love of the game with him. He taught him the rules of the game and the right way to play it, with honor and dignity. Much like the way he lived his life. He was known to be a peacemaker, always choosing love to solve problems rather than the latter.
