Gaffney - Mary Elizabeth "Beth" Inman Harris, 92, of 619 Gowdeysville Road, went home to be with the Lord on Friday, August 6, 2021 at her residence.
Born in Gaffney, she was the loving wife for over 74 years of the late Ralph Harris and the daughter of the late James Oris (J.O.) Inman and Mary Alice Pridmore Inman. She was a graduate of Gaffney High School, served on the Board of Directors at Mental Health of Gaffney and loved flowers and gardening. Mrs. Harris was a member of Rehoboth Baptist Church, where she was a Sunday School Teacher and W.M.U. Director.
Surviving are two daughters, Beverly Norton of Gaffney and Lauren Cantrell of Columbia; a brother Jim Inman (Ann) of Gaffney; five grandchildren, John David Harris (Jamie), Stephanie Luten (Joey), Jessica Norton, Michael Norton and William Cantrell; and two great-grandchildren, Tucker Harris and Jackson Harris. Mrs. Harris was preceded in death by a son, Steve Harris; and two sons-in-law, Jeff Norton and David Cantrell.
The family will receive friends from 2:30PM until 4:00PM on Wednesday, August 11, 2021 at Rehoboth Baptist Church. Funeral services will immediately follow at 4:00PM with Reverend Bob White and Reverend Ralph Brown officiating. Interment will be in Rehoboth Baptist Church Cemetery.
