Charles Casey Obituary
Spartanburg, SC - Charles Michael Casey, 82, husband of Judy Easler Casey, passed away Friday, April 9, 2021 at his home surrounded by his family.
Born August 30, 1938 in Spartanburg, he was a son of the late Robert James Casey and Tressie Compton Casey. He was the owner of Handy Tax Service and served our country in the United States Army.
Surviving in addition to his wife are his daughters, Deborah Casey Willingham and Amanda Casey Chitwood both of Spartanburg; sisters, Mickie Cox and Judy Bishop both of Spartanburg; grandchildren, Chelsea Zimmerman, Crystal Beasley, Austin Chitwood; step-grandson, Matthew Beasley; great-grandchildren, Landon Zimmerman, Willow Zimmerman and step-great-granddaughter, Paislee Beasley.
In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by brothers, Robert Casey and Ronald Casey.
Graveside services with Military Honors will be 11:00 a.m. Thursday, April 15, 2021 in Sunset Memorial Park with Rev. Joey Turner officiating.

My uncle Mike was a quiet man. He reminded me of my Dad's father. He didn't do a lot of talking, but he made every word count and people listened to him. Ronnie once said that this was why children liked Mike--he "didn't make any sudden movements." ;) But he loved his family so much, and I'll cherish the memories of the Casey family meeting to draw names at Christmas, and the last time I saw him, when we met at the steakhouse the month after Christmas. I will miss him, and I pray for Judy, Deborah and Amanda during this time. The world is a sadder place today.

Mike was a great person. He helped me for years on my taxes. He help me get them filed right at the last minute and I told him I would do better the next year.. but I didn’t!! Judy he will be missed by many. Praying for you and the family.
