David Peeler Obituary
Gaffney - David Wayne Peeler, 67, of 164 Sardis Road, went home to be with the Lord on Monday, July 5, 2021 at Spartanburg Medical Center.
Born in Gaffney, he was the husband of Marjorie Jackson Peeler and son of the late Charles B. and Aurie Mullinax Peeler. Mr. Peeler was retired from American Fast Print after 25 years of service and a member of Sardis United Methodist Church. He loved his family, especially his grandchildren, and enjoyed raising chickens.
Surviving in addition to his wife is a son, Daniel "Danny" Peeler (Alta) of Gaffney; daughters, Amy Upchurch and Denise Hill; two sisters, Pat McCraw (Roger) and Amanda Ramsey (Alfred); sisters-in-law, Nancy Peeler and Suson Parker; six grandchildren, Breanna Pennington, Caitlyn Peeler, Trinity Peeler, Aaron Guyton (Nichole), Cassandra Upchurch and Jennifer Billings (Eric); numerous great-grandchildren. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a daughter, Cindy Sellars, a sister, Ruby Lynn Peeler, and two brothers, Leonard Peeler and Jimmy Peeler.
Funeral services will be held at 4:00 PM on Thursday, July 8, 2021 at Sardis United Methodist Church with Reverend Alan Peeler and Reverend Richard Andrews officiating. Interment will be in the Sardis United Methodist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends following the committal service in the Church's Recreational Building.

Box 8094, Gaffney, SC 29342 or Grace Baptist Church, "Junior Parker Scholarship Fund", P.O. Box 2148, Gaffney, SC 29342 or St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105-1905.
The family will be at the residence, 164 Sardis Road, Gaffney, SC 29340.
