Doris Scruggs Obituary
Left to cherish her memory is two daughters, Mirriam Smith and Deborah Moore (Danny); five grandchildren; fifteen great-grandchildren; and ten great-great-grandchildren. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Aaron Scruggs; one son, Randall Scruggs; four brothers; and three sisters.
The family will receive friends Thursday, December 31, 2020 from 10:00 AM until 11:00 AM at Graham Chapel Wesleyan Church. Funeral services will follow at 11:00 AM in the Church with the Rev. James Henderson and the Rev. Preston Edmonds officiating. A private burial will take place at a later date.
The family will be at their respective homes.

I have many great memories of Aunt Doris from my childhood and I'm glad we were reconnected later in life. She is very loved and I will miss her. To my family in SC my heart and prayers go out to all of you in this difficult time. I love you all and wish I could be there with you tomorrow ❤

My aunt Doris was a special lady. A second mother to me. I spent many summers at her home with the family. She was great with everyone. No one went hungry in her home. I’ll miss her. She was the best.

We were so sorry to learn of her passing, but are assured she is no longer suffering and in pain. Our prayers are with you and thank God for the times we were able to spend with her. She was truly a blessing to all.

So sorry to hear of Doris passing, but we know where she is. Doris was a great friend to Vaughn and me, and after his death she was a big supporter for me. We will miss her smiling face and love. My thoughts and prayers are with the family.
