Edward J. Wotier
DUNCAN, SC-- Edward Joseph Wotier, 67, of Duncan died Wednesday, September 3, 2008 at home.
Born in Nashville, Tennessee, he was the son of the late Edward J. Wotier, Sr. and Joan Floersh Wotier.
He graduated from Bellarmine University in Louisville, KY and enjoyed working in the chemical business for many years. He was employed as a Business Development Manager with Para-Chem.
He was an avid fan of Drag Racing and Ballroom Dancing.
Edward was a member of the St. Paul the Apostle Catholic Church in Spartanburg, SC.
He is survived by his wife, Brigitte Egle Wotier of the home; a son, Darren Wotier of Charlotte, NC; a daughter, Sabrina Wotier Peterson and her husband Nathan of Tega Cay, SC; and a granddaughter, Tierre Peterson.
Funeral Service will be Saturday, September 6, 2008 at 1:00 PM in the Chapel of Woodlawn Funeral Home with private burial to follow in Woodlawn Memorial Park.
Visitation will from 11:30 AM - 1:00 PM prior to the service in the funeral home.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Melanoma Research Foundation in memory of Edward Wotier (www.melanoma.org) and/or Regional Hospice, 120 Heywood Avenue, Suite 300, Spartanburg, SC 29302.
