Etta Ree Grigg Cantrell
GREEN CREEK, NC-- Etta Ree Grigg Cantrell, 88, of Green Creek Community, died Friday, July 2, 2010 in Rutherford County Hospital, Rutherfordton, NC.
Born in Polk County, NC, she was the daughter of the late William and Martha Bradley Grigg. She was preceded in death by her husband of 50 years, John Arlan Cantrell; and daughter-in-law, Sandra Kay Cantrell. Mrs. Cantrell was a member of Melvin Hill Church of the Brethren.
Surviving is a son, John A. Cantrell of Columbus, NC; daughter, Diane Coyle of Allentown, PA. Also surviving are five grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; and a great-great-granddaughter.
Funeral services will be held 2:00 PM Monday, July 5, 2010 in Melvin Hill Church of the Brethren (Green Greek Community, NC) with Rev. Earl Byers officiating.
Burial will be in the church cemetery.
The family will receive friends from 1:00 PM until 2:00 PM Monday, prior to the service in Melvin Hill Church of the Brethren.
