John Labanick
SPARTANBURG, SC-- John Raymond Labanick, 28, formerly of 300 Red Maple Road, Inman, passed away on May 16, 2012.
Mr. Labanick was a native of Spartanburg County and a son of George and Deborah Labanick. He was an employee of Fedex and a member of Bethel United Methodist Church.
In addition to his parents, he is survived by a brother, Thomas Labanick of Inman; maternal grandparents, Charles and Patricia Dilks; aunts and uncles, Betsy and Vincent Gilmer, Peggy and Charlie Ferreria, and Laura Stiansen; cousins, Joel, Scott, Cowan Gilmer, Doug and Kathryn Ferreria, and Erik and Sara Stiansen.
Visitation will be held from 2:00 to 3:00 p.m. on Friday, May 18, 2012 at Eggers Funeral Home of Boiling Springs.
Funeral services will follow at 3:00 p.m. in the Funeral Chapel officiated by Rev. David Smith. Interment will be in Good Shepherd Memorial Park.
Memorials may be made to Spartanburg Humane Society, 155 Dexter Road, Spartanburg, SC 29303.
The family will be at 300 Red Maple Road, Inman.

I am bless to have known John and to have worked beside him. John cared about people and had a very giving heart!! Every morning he was all smiles and "Good Morning" at Fed Ex!! Fed Ex will not be the same with him not there!! A piece of heaven left this earth on May 16th.

My favorite memory of our time with John was on the Memphis, TN mission trip. He worked so hard loving the kids, being a friend,and serving. We are thankful for the memories we have with him and his family. Please know that we are thinking of you and praying for you now. We love you.
