Jane A. Tighe

Jane A. Tighe, 81, of Prospect Park, PA, passed away on October 8, 2014, at the Taylor Hospice House in Ridley Park, PA.
Born in Moosic, Pa, she was the daughter of the late William and Margaret Copp. After graduating from nursing school she worked as a private nurse and then at Doctor's Hospital in Philadelphia when she met and married her husband, John Tighe, and moved to Prospect Park, Pa.
She enjoyed working as a nurse with children with special needs at Greenwich Home for Children and being an active part of her children's lives ranging from scouting to the many swim meets she attended and worked at. She loved going to the cottage to swim and fish and traveling around the world.
Survivors: Her husband John, daughter Barbara (Richard), son Thomas (Donna), grandchildren, Kiersten, Logan, Gage and Adam. Brothers Robert (Margaret), and Donald (Patricia), and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral Service: Wednesday, October 15, 2014, 11b am at the Griffith Funeral Chapel, 530 Chester Pike, Norwood, PA
Viewing: Tuesday evening 7-9 pm, and Wednesday morning after 10 am at the Griffith Funeral Chapel.
Burial: Arlington Cemetery, Drexel Hill.
