Norman Eugene Wilson

SPARTANBURG, SC-- Norman Eugene Wilson, 71, of Magnolia Place in Spartanburg died Monday, February 3, 2009. He was the son of the late Dewey and Lillie Bishop Wilson. Norman was predeceased by his wife, Joyce Wilson and was a US Army Veteran.
Survivors include his former wife and close friend Linda Galloway; a son, Shawn Eugene Wilson of Spartanburg; a daughter, Lynette Jeffries of Spartanburg; a step-daughter, Amy Stewart of Landrum, SC; a brother, Walter Wilson and wife Sylvia of Charlotte, NC; one sister, Blanche Schram of Spartanburg; six grandchildren; four step-grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; and one step-great-grandchild.
Services will be held 2:00 PM Thursday, February 5, 2009 at the Stribling Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Joe Dempsey officiating. The family will receive friends from 12:30 to 1:45 PM, prior to the service. Interment will be at Fairforest Baptist Church Cemetery.
The family is at the home of Linda Galloway, 115 Frey Road, Spartanburg.
